This morning was my 2nd weight watcher meeting. I weighed in 8.2 pounds lighter than last week!! Woot! Woot! I was pretty proud of that. My goal was to reach my 5% mark which was 9 pounds... so close, only .14 of a pound away. I kind of beat myself up a bit (ie. should have worked out another day, shouldn't have eaten the pudding, and so on). Then, I got it right in my head.. *.2 pounds is an AWESOME amount of weight to lose in one week! A great start.
Here is a summary of how todays meeting went:
~Trick or Treat: What are some tricks I play on myself
skinny cow icecream bars with whipped cream
chocolate vitatop muffins
pudding topped with whipped cream
tootsie rolls
fruit topped with whipped cream (see the whipped cream pattern :P)
wheat waffles with fruit and whipped cream
~We need to get a handle on handling our sweet tooth before the holidays hit. With office parties, family and friend get togethers, there is always some evil sweet treat taunting you. Make a plan now on how you will avoid eating over your daily points.
~Then we did the celebrations. I received my star catcher, a 5 pound sticker and a bravo sticker :)
~Next Saturday I will be running the Monumental Half Marathon in Indianapolis, so I wont be able to attend my meeting. I will go to the Thursday evening meeting instead, which means I weigh in 2 days early!

Awesome job, Lauren. That's a great start...wow. Nice job on the race too. Sounds like a great last few weeks, that's for sure.
You can do it!!! Way to go on the weight loss ;)
sucha tuff time of year for me..every year...I try to keep the sweets in check....maybe having races to do will reign me in..good luck with that on your end!
