Three Things Thursday: WI Dells Edition

1. I am sitting in our sun room on Lake Delton, WI watching our boys swim and slide while catching up on my blog reader, and realized it is 3 Things Thursday? That means only 2 more days of vacation :( We have been here since last Sunday and have had a BLAST! What a great place for the family! World's Larget waterparks are located here. There is so much to do, I dont know if we wil be able to squeeze it all in. My parents were able to join this year, which has been nice. Everyone is having a great time.

2. We went zip lining yesterday! What a blast. I so want to do it again. I have been looking up vacations focused around zip lining. Anyone know any good spots? The longest line here was 1000 feet and went 0-50mph! So much fun :)

3. On Saturday morning I am running a 5k here in the Dells. Yes, we (umm, I) schedule our vacations around my races :) I am working my way through my goal of a race in each state. This race is pretty special to me since it benefits melanoma research and my parents have both suffered from melanoma. The run is Block the Sun 5K, wish me luck :)

One day I'd like to go zip lining too. I know that some of the larger cruise ships also have them. Don't think it would be as cool as going through trees though.

Do you really run barefoot?

just did my first barefoot run! not a bad way to mix it up. I think I'll incorporate it more into my training. good luck in the 5k.
